Manali tourists get set to usher in New Year traditionally

Tourists are preparing to usher in the New Year here in a traditional way.

Manali (Himachal Pradesh), Dec 31 : Tourists are preparing to usher in the New Year here in a traditional way.

A majority of them have come here to de-stress themselves, participate in traditional dance forms and to taste ethnic food.

Interestingly, even the youth, are taking part in forms of folk song and dance sequences.

"I have been here for the first time. I mean it is a completely different experience. I have seen the culture of Himachal Pradesh. Dancing with them has been a great experience," said Mayank, a tourist.

Many first timers at Manali, accustomed to the western form of New Year celebrations, are happy about taking part in traditional rituals and dance forms.
