The Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit concluded here with a promise of historic transformation in the State of Rajasthan in coming years. The summit saw a total of 295 MoUs worth Rs 1,62,079 crores being signed. These were committed by leading Indian and multinational companies across sectors. These investments span several sectors including Agriculture, Education, Power, Healthcare, Industries, IT & Communication, Mines, SEZ, Technical Education and Tourism.

In her address to the Captains of the Industry, delegates and citizens of the State the Hon'ble Chief Minister, Smt Vasundhara Raje presented a compelling case for emergence of Rajasthan as one of the most dynamic investment locations in the country. Smt. Raje said "It is a matter of great delight that the business community has responded with such enthusiasm to the 'Resurgent Rajasthan Summit'. This proud moment has come after a lot of hard work and single-minded focus on building a strong foundation and a proactive and growth oriented policy framework."

She added with enthusiasm and passion, "Rajasthan is poised to step into a bright future. I urge all our partners; industry, people of Rajasthan and media to come together and seize the opportunity to realize inclusive development and high-growth for our beautiful state."

Assuring the investors, Mr Narpat Singh Rajvi, Minister of Industries, Rajasthan said, "Rapid industrialization is the stated priority of our government and we are committed to provide an environment that is business friendly and enabling in nature. Our focus on three core requisite components viz, roads, power and skilled human resources will ensure that investors get a highly conducive atmosphere for setting up their ventures across Rajasthan."

The two day summit was organized by Government of Rajasthan in collaboration with FICCI. The Summit witnessed huge participation from delegates representing close to 850 organizations including Omaxe, Vatika, ICICI Bank, Honda Siel, Reliance, Fortis, Bharat Hotels, Vedanta Group Plc., Genpact, Narayan Hrudalaya, etc.

The Summit reiterates Rajasthan's image as one of the fastest growing states in India that is poised to embrace a set of policies focused on both physical infrastructure as well as human resource development.

Smt. Vasudhara Raje in august presence of Shri Narpat Singh Rajvi, Minister of Industries, Rajasthan, Mr KV Kamath, MD and CEO, ICICI Bank, Shri D C Samant, Chief Secretary, Govt. of Rajasthan, Mr Habib Khorakiwala, President, FICCI and Dr Amit Mitra, Secretary General, FICCI had inaugurated the summit.
