New Delhi, Dec 28 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Lal Krishna Advani today said that that after winning Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh Assembly polls, the BJP is eyeing power at the Centre
"I am sure that the process of change that has begun will reach national politics. What has begun in 2007, will go ahead" Advani told reporters here.
"The process of change has begun this year and this change is in favour of the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party). But there was change in government in UP (Uttar Pradesh) also. The only satisfaction for the Congress party is Goa," he added.
BJP swept state polls in Himachal Pradesh by winning 41 of the 68 seats in the State Assembly. The Congress Party could manage only 20 compared to its previous tally of 43 seats.
This victory comes within five days of a comfortable BJP victory in Gujarat where the party had formed the government after winning 117 seats.
