Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh was among the first ones to greet former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his 84th birthday.

New Delhi, Dec 25 : Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh was among the first ones to greet former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his 84th birthday.

Dr. Singh visited Vajpayee's residence at 7-Krishna Menon Marg to wish him.

A large number of well-wishers greeted Vajpayee for long life with flowers and sweets.

Senior party leader L K Advani had called on him on Monday evening to wish him as he had to go to Gandhinagar to attend the swearing in of Narendra Modi as Gujarat Chief Minister.

Among others who called on Vajpayee are former BJP leader Madanlal Khurana and Panthers Party chief Bhim Singh.
