The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Sunday recovered a huge cache of bombs from a brick kiln in Nandigram that has been scene of violent clashes between CPI (M) cadres and the supporters of Bhumi Uched Pratirodh Committee (BUPC).

Nandigram, Dec 23 : The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Sunday recovered a huge cache of bombs from a brick kiln in Nandigram that has been scene of violent clashes between CPI (M) cadres and the supporters of Bhumi Uched Pratirodh Committee (BUPC).

The bombs were hidden in bushes and number over 50.

The brick kiln allegedly belongs to a CPI (M) cadre and was reportedly used to stockpile arms and ammunition.

The CRPF will hand over the bombs to the State Police.
