At least 40 people were injured when two passenger trains collided at Bihars Saharsa railway station today.
Saharsa (Bihar), Dec 1 : At least 40 people were injured when two passenger trains collided at Bihar's Saharsa railway station today.
The Saharsa-Forbesganj train slammed into the rear of the stationary Saharsa-Katihar train, which was about to leave from platform number 3 around 7 am today, officials said.
The passengers suffered minor injuries due to the impact. The guard's cabin of the Saharsa-Katihar train was badly damaged.
The driver of Saharsa-Forbesganj train has reportedly been taken into custody.
An inquiry has also been ordered into the incident.
