Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati has begun implementing her poll promise to remove her predecessor Mulyam Singh Yadavs goons from the state, a website has claimed.
New Delhi, Aug 7 : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati has begun implementing her poll promise to remove her predecessor Mulyam Singh Yadav's goons from the state, a website has claimed.
State Cabinet Secretary Shashank Shekhar Singh and Director General of Police Vikram Singh have done extremely well in ending the stranglehold of these goons, the website said.
"Uttar Pradesh is no longer a living hell as it was during the Mulayam's regime," www.politicsparty.com said.
Based on information received from 80 parliamentary constituencies of the state, the website claimed, "After winning the state elections, Mayawati has been true to her promise. She has directed her system to mercilessly weed out the goons getting support from Mulayam."
Hailing Mayawati's efforts, the website says the fear and terror inflicted by the goons has disappeared.
Coming down heavily on Mulayam regime, the website further said, "The combined activity of extortion, gambling, illicit liquor, kidnapping, land grabbing, property acquisition by force and extracting money from every section of the society became the biggest revenue earner for the Mulayam's system."
