Kashmir Inspector General of Police (IGP) S.M.Sahai held a meeting of all the security agencies working in the Jammu and Kashmir to review the security arrangements for the Independence Day celebrations in the state.

Srinagar, Aug 5 : Kashmir Inspector General of Police (IGP) S.M.Sahai held a meeting of all the security agencies working in the Jammu and Kashmir to review the security arrangements for the Independence Day celebrations in the state.

The top officers from the army, BSF, CRPF, Intelligence Bureau, Criminal CID, Traffic and Security attended the meeting, which was held at Police Control Room on Saturday.

The meeting had a detailed discussion with regard to intelligence inputs, traffic, security and issues related to the Independence Day.

Among others, the meeting was attended by IG CRPF, IG BSF, IG Armed, DIG's of all the ranges of the Kashmir Valley, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) PCR, SSP Srinagar, SSP Security, SSP CIK, SSP Traffic, SP East and SP South.
