The army killed two hardcore militants belonging to banned Karbi Longpi North Cachar Liberation Front (KLNLF) in East Karbi Anglong area after the security forces intensified its operations in the area.
Tezpur (Assam), Aug 31 : The army killed two hardcore militants belonging to banned Karbi Longpi North Cachar Liberation Front (KLNLF) in East Karbi Anglong area after the security forces intensified its operations in the area.
The killed terrorists have been identified as Dimapur Bey and Harbaman. ne Thomson sub - machine gun and a pistol were recovered from the killed terrorists besides ammunition, combat dresses, large amount of cash and other items.
In recent army operations, a camp of KLNLF terrorists was busted and two terrorists were killed in last three days.
The KLNLF militant were behind the recent massacre of Hindi-speaking people in the area.
