Actor Sanjay Dutts sister, Priya Dutt today said that her family would de deciding on the next course of action in next two days for her brothers release, who has been sentenced to six years of rigorous imprisonment in connection with the 1993 Mumbai blasts case.

New Delhi, Aug 3 : Actor Sanjay Dutt's sister, Priya Dutt today said that her family would de deciding on the next course of action in next two days for her brother's release, who has been sentenced to six years of rigorous imprisonment in connection with the 1993 Mumbai blasts case.

Priya, a member of Lok Sabha from Mumbai, today met Congress president Sonia Gandhi at her residence here and apprised her of ongoing situation.

"We are exploring all possible options. We are hopeful of finding a way out," Priya told reporters after meeting Sonia.

''We are taking opinion of experts how to go about it and in a day or two will finalise details of our petition,'' she added.

The Dutt family is likely to apply for Sanjay's bail in the Supreme Court.

Sanjay was sentenced by a special Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act (TADA) court for the illegal possession of arms on July 31.

Special Judge P D Kode also fined Rupees 25,000 on the star and rejected his probation plea. He has already spent nearly 16 months, as an under trial before being released on bail in 1996.
