New Delhi, Aug.29 :The National Human Rights Commission has expressed displeasure over the belligerent attitude of authorities in Uttar Pradesh in conenction with the killing of Pinto Misra in Allahabad on September 18, 2006.
The Commission has asked the District Magistrate and the Senior Superintendent of Police of Allahabad to present themselves before it with a magisterial enquiry report and a post-mortem and inquest report on October 24, 2007.
The Commission has also said that if the requisite reports are received by the Commission on or before October 17, 2007, the two officials need not appear before the Commission.
