Up to 50 Percent Cashback Offers for Visa Cardholders who Make Bookings on Travelguru

Visa International and Travelguru are giving Visa cardholders who make bookings for domestic airlines (Indian Airlines, Jet Airways and Kingfisher Airlines) and hotels listed on Travelguru up to 50 per cent cashback on their travel bookings. The cashback offer is valid to December 31, 2007 and can be availed by booking via the website travelguru.com or by calling the Travelguru reservation center.

All Visa cardholders are eligible for cashback savings:

-- Visa Signature cardholders can enjoy 50 percent cashback on airline bookings and 25 percent cashback on hotel bookings

-- Visa Platinum cardholders can enjoy 25 percent cashback on airlines and hotel bookings

-- Visa Gold cardholders can enjoy 15 percent cashback on airline bookings and 25 percent cashback on hotel bookings

-- All other Visa cardholders can enjoy 7.5 percent cashback on airline bookings and 15 percent cashback on hotel bookings.

Speaking on the launch of the offer, Santanu Mukherjee, Country Manager - South Asia, Visa International Asia Pacific highlighted that domestic travel among Indians has increased to 430 million trips in 2006, up 13 percent from 2005. The average annual growth rate has been more than 10 percent since 2000. "Indians are traveling more than ever and last year they made 3.5 million transactions on their Visa cards while traveling overseas ."

He added, "Now Visa cardholders who make their airline and hotel bookings online on the Travelguru website can experience the dual benefits of cashback offers and the ability to make convenient, secure and faster travel bookings and payments. We are proud to partner Travelguru in providing this offer to our cardholders."
