Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Narayan Dutt Tiwari was today sworn in as the 21st Governor of Andhra Pradesh.
Hyderabad, Aug 22 : Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Narayan Dutt Tiwari was today sworn in as the 21st Governor of Andhra Pradesh.
The 82-year-old Congress leader was administered the oath of office by the High Court Chief Justice, GS Singhvi, at a function in the Raj Bhavan here.
Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, his Cabinet colleagues, senior officials and several other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
Orissa Governor Rameswar Thakur was holding additional charge of Andhra Pradesh after SushilKumar Shinde resigned in January last year to join the Union Cabinet as a minister.
