TIMEX Watches Ltd. (TIMEX), launched its internationally acclaimed, motor-racing inspired, dynamic new Racing Chronograph Collection at a glittering event in the capital city today. The new collection was launched by Aussie Speed King and TIMEX Brand Ambassador Brett Lee, in the presence of Mr. Kapil Kapoor, Sr. Vice-President Asia and Managing Director Timex Watches Ltd. The event was hosted by the popular and glamourous sports commentator and media personality, Mandira Bedi. The launch event was thematically inspired by the basic design grammar of the Racing Chronograph collection and yet again saw Timex brand ambassador Brett Lee make an interesting onstage entry on a racing motorbike, dressed in befitting attire!
The new Racing Chronograph Collection from TIMEX once again reasserts the brand's sporty, techie and fashionable imagery. This collection draws inspiration and influences from formula-one racing, grand prix cars, bikes and drivers and vividly captures the essence of the sport through the use of material, colour and detailing. The Racing Chronograph watches feature iconic leather driving straps. The cut-out circles and the choice of classic racing colours - black, classic tan, racing green and traditional red - together create a strong identity. The dial design has also been enhanced to reflect the racing influence, with the subtle inclusion of colour details and an enhanced minute tracker on the reflector ring. And most importantly, the new Racing Chronograph watches have the Tachymeter feature that helps measure speed over a predefined distance. These styles in the collection also have built-in INDIGLO night-light feature and all the models are water resistant from 50 to 100 meters. Available in leather strap and bracelet options, the new collection has a range of 14 men's styles that are priced between Rs 3000/- to Rs 6000/-.
