Vajpayee admitted to AIIMS

Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was today admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here after he complained of giddiness.

New Delhi, Aug 21: Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was today admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here after he complained of giddiness.

Vajpayee, 83, was admitted to the hospital for observation and investigations, a release from his office stated.

According to the doctors attending on him, Vajpayee is "stable, conscious, with normal vital signs".
