New Delhi, Aug 21 : The vociferous attack against Manmohan Singh and the Indo-US nuclear deal by Left leaders Prakash Karat and AB Bardhan, has made party workers happy at grassroots.
According to a survey conducted by the website, politicsparty.com, the mood in Left dominated constituencies is on an upward swing, and both Karat and Bardhan have provided an "Elixir" for Communist stronghold areas through their opposition to the deal.
The website predicts that "if there is a mid-term poll, the Communists will improve their tally of 61 MPs."
Karat and Bardhan, the website claims have responded courageously to Manmohan Singh's threat that they can withdraw outside support to the government if they want to.
The website predicts that not a single Muslim voter would vote for the Congress and the Trinamool Congress (TMC), and added that TMC chief Mamata Banerjee would lose in her constituency.
The Communist voters are said to be angry with the UPA Government for prostrating before the US, poor economic growth, government being pro-capitalist and anti-poor, and no support for farmers, and growing unemployment in the country.
