Steiner Leisure Limited Announces Five Year Agreement with British Airways to Operate Elemis Spas in London and New York Air Terminals and to Provide Elemis Onboard Amenities

Nassau, Bahamas, The

Steiner Leisure Limited (NASDAQ:STNR) has announced that its luxury British spa and skincare brand, Elemis, has entered into a five year agreement to operate spa facilities at British Airways terminal lounges at Heathrow Airport in London and John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York. The services at these spa facilities will be provided to British Airways passengers on a complimentary basis.

In addition, Elemis is scheduled, commencing in October 2007, to provide Elemis brand amenities onboard British Airways' long-haul business class cabin, Club World. These in-flight skincare products for British Airways' customers are aimed at renewing, reviving and rehydrating the skin.

Elemis anticipates commencing its British Airways terminal spa operations in October 2007 at five existing British Airways terminal lounge travel spas (a total of four at arrival and departure lounges at two Heathrow terminals and one at the JFK departure lounge).

Elemis also anticipates that, in March 2008, three new luxury travel spa facilities (two in departure lounges and one in an arrivals lounge) will open in British Airways' new home at London Heathrow, Terminal 5. These new spa facilities will provide a unique retreat, offering customers the opportunity to experience treatments from the exclusively designed spas. The spas feature a calming environment through the use of controlled lighting, natural materials such as limestone and slate and a warm soothing colour palette to create a relaxing atmosphere. Layers of fabrics will create depth and privacy around the treatment areas, while permitting a discreet glimpse inside, in contrast to the other finishes and materials.

Elemis has designed exclusive British Airways treatments for men and women, creating a two-tiered menu. A departure treatment aids sleep and relaxation, calming the passenger so that the on-board experience is enhanced, and an arrivals treatment re-awakens, energizes and uplifts the customers after their flight.

Leonard Fluxman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Steiner Leisure, said: "It gives us great pleasure to be aligning with British Airways, whose ethos and brand values mirror those of our own. British Airways delivers top quality global service and this exciting collaboration will provide us with the opportunity to introduce an exceptional new spa concept in airport environments. The treatments are designed to meet the needs of the international traveler as well as introducing us to the clientele of this respected airline."

Sean Harrington, Managing Director of Elemis, said: "Elemis is exceptionally proud to be working with British Airways. The synergy of the two British brands is exceptional, providing high standards of product offering, service and customer care in a therapeutic environment, whether onboard, or in the airport lounges. We are excited to have developed a totally unique spa travel offering that will ensure that, in the potentially stressful environment of international travel, there is still a little time to relax and de-stress."

Finola Lehane, British Airways' brand and service development manager, said: "We're delighted to welcome Elemis as our spa provider. Our customers will benefit from Elemis' extensive experience in producing top-quality skincare, both through treatments in the British Airways lounges and onboard, via the amenities. Our two brands are synonymous with quality and luxury and we anticipate that our customers will be delighted with new spa and amenity kit products."
