Hyderabad, April 16, 2007: Secunderabad youth Karan Singh wins The Gladrags Mega Model and Manhunt Contest 2007 "Best Body" award. In a final contest which was held recently in Mumbai among great fanfare, concluding three months of hard work and planning by legendary Model Maker, Mrs. Maureen Wadia and her team, Karan was adjudged as the winner for the Best Body award.
After two hours of an exciting contest judged by socialites and celebrities from Bollywood and the Fashion World, Mahima Chaudhury from Pune and Romeo Gates from London became the female and male winners of the Gladrags Mega Model and Manhunt Contest 2007. The first runners up were mega model Ambika Ragbir from New York and male model Kaiomurz Chindy from Pune, while the second runners up were Shweta Bharadwaj from Delhi and Nachiket Sawant from Pune.

The panel of Judges were Koena Mitra, Dino Morea, Kiron Kher, Rohit Bal, Manish Malhotra, Nandita Mahtani, Laila Khan Rajpal, Maureen Wadia and Naresh Rawal. The show was compered by Sajid Khan.
The Gladrags Mega Model & Manhunt Contest was a very unique unisex contest. Presented by Britannia, in association with Star One and the film location Star Cruise Libra at the Lakshadweep islands, the Contest this year had 18 girls and 21 boys vying for these extremely prestigious titles.
The two winners of the Mega Model and Manhunt will be sent abroad to compete in the Best Model of the World & Manhunt International, Miss Intercontinental and Top Model of the World. Those who won 2nd position will go abroad to participate in the Best Asian Model Contest and the Miss Tourism International and Mr. Tourism International. Out of the 39 finalist girls and boys of the 2007 Mega Model & Manhunt Contest, not just the winners will represent India at International pageants, but also at least 5 other girls and 5 boys will be sent to other prestigious International Contests.
The Gladrags Mega Model and Manhunt Contest has the reputation of creating and producing stars. It is the place "Where Stars Are Born & model legends are made." Previous winners and finalists of the Gladrags Mega Model Contest include Lara Dutta, Aditi Govitrikar, Tora Khasgir, Anchal Kumar, Candice Pinto, Koena Mitra and Deepti Gujral, Rakshanda Khan, Jyoti Rana, Zabayan Khan, Reshma Bombaywala, Rosy Hynerman and Shweta Salve.
