Enterprise Architecture Inventor John Zachman to Visit India in Nov '06

India's first exclusive Enterprise Architecture conference, organised by iCMG and scheduled to be held in November, will feature Mr John A. Zachman, known as the 'Father of Enterprise Architecture'.

The one-day conference to be held in November in Bangalore and Mumbai, by Mr John Zachman will help Senior Management (CXOs, VPs and Directors) to effectively define IT strategies by rationalizing IT investments to support multiple line of business (LOB). This will also help them to develop enterprise models, which can grow and change as fast as market evolves.

Mr Zachman is the inventor of the 'Framework for Enterprise Architecture' that has become the de facto standard. Since, its first publication in 1987, the framework has been applied in Global 2000 organisations as a blueprint for ensuring business improvement, cost reduction & IT alignment. Mr Zachman serves on the Executive Council for Information Management and Technology of the United States General Accounting Office (GAO). He is also the CEO of ZIFA.
