Tim Donnelly

Timothy Michael "Tim" Donnelly is a member of the California State Assembly, representing the 59th District. He is a Republican, and is vice chairman of the Committees on Revenue and Taxation and Higher Education.

Before his election to the Assembly in November 2010, Donnelly was a small businessman in Southern California. He currently resides in Twin Peaks, California.

Illegal Immigration

Tim Donnelly is a strong advocate against illegal immigration and a former member of the Minutemen Project that tried to stop illegal immigration.

Running for Governor in 2014

On 7 November 2012, Tim Donnelly announced that he was forming an exploratory committee for a potential run to the office of Governor. The decision faced a serious backlash as Republicans are trying to connect with Hispanic voters after Mitt Romeny lost the Presidential election.

President of Lincoln Club of Orange County Robert Loewen announced that he and the club would not support Tim Donnelly or the Republicans who continually target immigrants.
