Rod Blagojevich is an Illinois Governor who was impeached by the Illinois Senate 54-0 in January 09 after his controvertial appointment of Roland Burris as the Senator of Illinois to fill the remaining 2-year term of Barack Obama. Before his impeachment, he urged the Illinois Senate not to remove him from office, saying he has 'done absolutely nothing wrong'.
