Personal Biography

Extramarital affair with a staffer

In June 09, the Senator tendered a public apology at a press conference in his home town Las Vegas. He confessed of an affair with former staffer during December 2007 and August 2008. The name of the lady is not revealed but it is told that she is married to the lawmaker's former legislative aides. Ensign said he has no plans to resign. Fox News claimed that the admission by the Senator was prompted by a blackmail threat.
