About Julius Genachowski

Julius Genachowski is the Chairman of Federal Communications Commission. He succeds Kevin Martin and is picked up by Barack Obama Administration. Genachowski is a law school friend of Obama (during Obama's Harvard Law Review days) and an renowned technology industry executive. Julius worked as an adviser on technology policy during the 2008 campaign.

In September 09, Genachowski added the 5th and 6th principles to the net neutrality policy - non-discrimination - stating that broadband providers cannot discriminate against particular Internet content or applications and transparency principle - stating that providers of broadband Internet access must be transparent about their network management practices.
