Kaun Banega Crorepati


Kaun Banega Crorepati is a Indian game show. The show is based on the UK game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. The game offers a maximum cash prize of Rs. 5,00,00,000. The show was first aired in 2000 and was hosted by popular Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan.

The television show was aired on Star Plus when it was launched in 2010. The show is being aired in Sony Entertainment Television (SET) since 2010.

Amitabh Bachchan has hosted the first, second, fourth, fifth and sixth seasons of the KBC show. Shahrukh Khan hosted the third season.

Season 6

The season 6 of the Kaun Banega Crorepati went on air on September 7, 2012.

The opening episode of the show went received the highest opening on the Sony channel since the show was being aired on the channel since 2010. The episode which was aired on September 7 received a 6.1 TVR according to television audience measuring agency TAM. The second episode earned 5.3 TVR.

Senior Executive Vice President of Sony Entertainment Television said that show received the highest opening of the year across all shows on entertainment channels.

The first Crorepati of the season is Manoj Kumar Raina from Kashmir.

Sridevi will appear on the hot seat in the season 6 of the show.
