About Indian team for the 2010 Commonwealth Games

In December 2008, about 44 boxers are shortlisted for international training. Select candidates from these 44 are likely to form to the final Indian boxing team. In May 2010, Indian tennis ace Mahesh Bhupathi has said that India have bright prospects in the forthcoming CW Games.

On August 29, 2010, the Union Sports Minister M S Gill appealed to Indian players, participating in the games, to fully utilise the infrastructure facilities given to them by the government and deliver their best.

On September 23, 2010, several Indian sportspersons have expressed their anxiety over constant complaints about the ensuing the Games.
