Robin Gibb

Robin Hugh Gibb, CBE is a singer and songwriter and is a member of the Bee Gees. He founded the band with his twin brother Maurice and elder brother Barry. Bee Gees became one of the most successful pop groups of all time.

He is married to Dwina and has three children - Daughter Melissa, Sons Spencer and Robin-John. His brother is Barry.

Robin Gibb suffered problems with his health and has recovered from liver and colon cancer in 2012.

Coma

On April 14, 2012 Robin Gibb contracted pnuemonia and went in a coma. Doctors believe that he is in the final stages of cancer. It was reported that he has been fighting for his life at the Chelsea hospital. Shortly before going in a coma, Robin Gibb was writing lyrics and making a 'bucket list' of things to do.

He finally woke up after 12 days and was able to communicate with his family. It was reported that after he woke up from the coma, he looked at his son and said "Hello RJ". He was nodding his head after the family played music to rouse him.
