Personal Biography

Nicoletta Mantovani is his second wife. Pavarotti's friends revealed that he considered committing sucide because of his tormenting wife who is responsible from seperating him with his daughters.


Pavarotti died on September 6, 2007 of pancreative cancer.


In November 07, his wife Mantovani received the his 'Excellence in Italian Culture Prize' award at his hometown Modena. In October 08, singers Jose Carreras and Placido Domingo came together to sing in honour of Pavarotti at Petra.

In September 07, Pavarottis daughters dismissed reports that theres a family rift going on over the stars 500 million dollars fortune. In October 07, after the Italian media began gossip about financial and family problems, Nicoletta came out and condemned the reports. Reports in March 08 say that Pavarotti has left behind £7m debt and a whole chain of properties in many countries like Italy, the United States and Monte Carlo.
