Secunderabad-Tirupati Express

The Secunderabad-Tirupati Express is a bi-weekly express train that runs between Tirupati and Secunderabad. The train revives the route taken by erstwhile Venkatadri Express that was used between 1975 and 1995.

The train was flagged off by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy on December 8, 2012 in the presence of Union Minister of State for Railways Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy. Ministers J Geeta Reddy, Danam Nagendar, Mukesh Goud, Jayasudha Kapoor, MP Anjan Kumar Yadav and MLC Amos were also present at the flag off ceremony.

Train no. 12770 is bound for Tirupati from Secunderabad. It will run via Kacheguda, Kurnool, Dhone, Gooty, Dharmavaram, Madanapalle, Kalikiri, Piler and Pakala.
