In March 09, Wen Jiabao said he is "worried" about China's $1 trillion holdings in US Treasuries and that they will pursue a policy of diversification when comes to its future.

On May 17, 2009, Wen Jiabao and Li Keqiang visited China's first diagnosed A/H1N1 flu patient surnamed Liu. They met the Beijing Ditan Hospital medical staff and inspected the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
