Thota Narsimham


Thota Narsimham is a Member of Parliament (MP) representing Kakinada. He is a politician belonging to Telugu Desam Party. Narasimham was a former Congress MLA and has represented Jaggampeta, East Godavari Assembly Constituency. He was a former Minister in the cabinet of Kiran Kumar Reddy.

Politics

Thota Narasimham won from Jaggampeta assembly seat in 2004 and 2009 elections. He served as a minister in the Cabinet of Kiran Kumar Reddy.

In 2014, Narasimham joined Telugu Desam Party.

Narasimham said that Chandrababu Naidu will come back as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh following the alliance between BJP and Telugu Desam Parties. He said it was Chandrababu Naidu who had brought IT firms in Hyderabad. The former minister criticized Centre for bifurcating the state without addressing the issues of Seemandhra. Apr 19, 2014

Thota Narasimham lodged a complaint with the Two Town police of Kakinada and the Cyber Crime Cell of East Godavari that his debit card was cloned and Rs 50,000 was drawn from his account at an ATM in Goa. According to the police, the data from the debit card of the MP may have been accessed by using a device called skimmer when the MP was making a payment at a mall or restaurant.
