About Pratibha Devisingh Patil

Pratibha Patil (born 19 December 1934) is the 12th and current President of the Republic of India and first woman to hold the office. She was sworn in as President of India on 25 July 2007, succeeding Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. She is the first Women Indian President.
