About Praful Patel

Praful Patel is the Union Minister for Heavy Industries. He is a politician of the Nationalist Congress Party. He represents the Bhandara-Gondia parliamentary constituency.

Prior to becoming a Union Minister for Heavy Industries, Praful Patel was the minister for Indian Civil Aviation.

Praful Patel spoke at the inauguration of the NCP's renovated office at Nariman Point in Mumbai. Speaking on the occasion, he lauded Narendra Modi for his re-election as Gujarat chief minister for the third time. He also criticized the Congress party for the way it behaved with NCP and said that the reasons of the defeat should be examined. Dec 28, 2012
