Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy


Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy is a Politician of the Congress Party in Andhra Pradesh. He is a MLA representing Punganur constituency.

Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy worked as the chief of District Congress Committee in Tirupati. He is a Member of Legislative Assembly from Piler constituency. In the 2009 assembly elections, Ramachandra Reddy beat TDP rival Venkatramanaraju from Punganur with a majority of 41,006.

Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy is a staunch critic of Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.

On December 2, 2010, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy announced to the media that his only agenda is to work against Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.

Resignation from Assembly

In November 2012, he threatened to quit the assembly if the Chief Minister is not removed by the end of the month. On 28 November 2012, Ramachandra Reddy has resigned from the Assembly and submitted his resignation letter to the Speaker of the Assembly Nadendla Manohar Reddy. Speaking to the media later, Ramachandra Reddy said that despite quitting from the assembly he would still continue within the party.
