Nara Lokesh


Nara Lokesh is a businessman and a general secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). He is the son of TDP President and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Lokesh joined active politics campaigning for the party extensively in the 2014 elections.

Lokesh is the Vice-president, Executive Director, Member of Management Committee and Member of Remuneration Committee of Heritage Foods (India) Ltd.

Personal Biography

Nara Lokesh was born in 1983 to Chandrababu Naidu and Bhuvaneswari. He is married to Brahmani.

Lokesh studied at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and at the Little Flower Junior College in Hyderabad. He is a graduate in Sciences and also did his Masters in Business Administration from 2006-2008, with Marking and Operations as his specialization.

Lokesh also did his BS Management Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University from 2000-2004.

Family

Lokesh is the son of Chandrababu Naidu and Bhuvaneswari. He married Brahmani, the daughter of TDP founder NT Rama Rao's son Nandamuri Balakrishna.

Nara Devansh

Son of Lokesh and Brahmani is Nara Devansh. The 'Annaprasana' of Devansh was held at Tirumala on October 18, 2015. The ceremony was attended by Chandrababu Naidu, his wife Bhuvaneswari, Nara Lokesh, Brahmani, Hari Krishna and Bala Krishna. Bhuvaneswari later handed over a cheque of Rs 20 lakh to TTD's Nitya Annadanam trust.

Timeline

Nara Lokesh criticized Opposition party leader Jagan Mohan Reddy's announcement not to take part in the foundation laying ceremony of capital city of Amaravati. In a Twitter tweet, Lokesh said: "Unfortunate Jagan declined to be part of building Amravathi. Hope it comes to his senses that it's a dream come true for 5cr Andhrites. If he changes his mind, can be part by donating his 1L Cr @ http://www.amaravati.gov.in first, before making baseless comments on @ncbn". He also critized the Sakshi daily by tweeting, "What kind of sadistic pleasure is this? While the entire state is gearing up for the inaugural of Amaravati, Saakshi is spitting venom!!!"
