Jayasudha


Jayasudha is a tollywood actress and a politician representing the Congress party.

Personal Biography

Jayasudha was born on December 17, 1958 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She is the niece of another famous actress and director Vijaya Nirmala. She is the sister of Subhashini. Jayasudha married Bollywood producer Nitin Kapoor in 1985. She has two sons - Nihar (born in 1986) and Shreayan (born in 1990). Jayasudha is also a good friend of actresses Jayapradha, Radhika and Revathi. Jayasudha is a practicing Christian.

Professional Biography

Jayasudha started her movie career at an early age of 12. Her movie debut was in the movie Panduntikaapuram in 1972. She has since then acted in more than 225 movies.

Jayasudha stared her political career in 2009 with the Congress party. She became a Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) representing the Secunderabad constituency.
