Chhagan Bhujbal is the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. He takes charge from R R Patil who resigned taking moral responsibility for the Mumbai terror attack.

Professional Biography

Bhujbal served the post of Deputy Chief Minister during the Congress-NCP allied Government which came into power in Maharashtra in 1999.

On December 5, 2008, Chhagan Bhujbal was named as the new Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra by Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Chief Sharad Pawar.
