Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy

Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy is a leader of the Telugu Desam Party. He is the convener of Rayalaseema Parirakshana Samithi, which was formed for the cause of separate Rayalaseema state.

Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy is the son of Byreddy Seshasayana Reddy. Byreddy Siddhartha Reddy is his brother's son.

Allegations of involvement in Murder

In 2014, Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy is accused of being involved in the murder of Sai Eeswardu, market yard vice-chief at Muchumarri village in Kurnool. Six persons were arrested by the police in connection to the case on 27 March 2014. Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy is likely to get arrested as the investigation goes on. Byreddy was not seen in public since then.

Byreddy Rajasekhara Reddy had moved a petition in the Andhra Pradesh high court contending that a false criminal case was foisted on him and appealed the court to quash the FIR registered by the police. Justice Nooty Ramamohana Rao of Andhra Pradesh high court has refused to stay the criminal case. The court however admitted the petition and issued notices to the police directing them to file their counter affidavits.
