About Vijay Nambiar

Vijay Nambiar is a veteran Indian diplomat and the Chef de Cabinet (Chief of Staff) under UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon since 1 January 2007. On May 22, 2009, he visited camps in Vavuniya, Sri Lanka that are setup for the displaced people in the war-hit region. His visit is one day before the scheduled visit of the UN Secretary General.
