Viaan Raj Kundra


Viaan Raj Kundar is the son of Businessman Raj Kundra and Actress Shilpa Shetty.

Birth

Shilpa Shetty gave birth to a baby boy at the Hinduja Healthcare Surgical Hospital in suburban Khar, Mumbai on May 21, 2012. Raj Kundra announced the birth by posting a tweet on his twitter page. "God has blessed us with a beautiful baby boy. Both mother and baby are fine... Both mum and Baby K are resting. I am thrilled to bits!!!!!!", said Raj Kundra. He further thanked the staff and doctors at the Hinduja Hospital. "A big thank you to my wife @TheShilpaShetty for the bestest gift ever, Dr. Kiran Cohelo and all the staff at Hinduja Hospital! Thank you all for your love and wishes for our new born,"

Raj Kundra was with Shilpa Shetty the whole time since she was admitted in the hospital. It was only after the birth of the baby boy that he went home to rest.

Several Popular personalities in Bollywood has posted congratulatory tweets. Bollywood actors Bipasha Basu, Neil Nitin Mukesh, R Madhavan, Sameera Reddy and Farah Khan Ali are among the first ones to congratulate Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty.

Baby Name

In May 2012, Raj Kundra revealed that they have not decided over the baby name yet. He said that people have been calling by the baby by various names including little Raj and baby K. He added that his mother-in-law Sunanda Shetty will finalize the alphabet under which the baby is to be named. The baby is finally named Viaan Raj Kundra.
