Susan Magdalane Boyle (born 1 April 1961) is a Scottish singer who came to international public attention when she appeared as a contestant on reality TV programme Britain's Got Talent on 11 April 2009, singing I Dreamed a Dream from Les Misérables where she emerged as the runner up. Her first album was released in November 2009 and debuted as the number one best-selling CD on charts around the globe.

In April 09, she revealed of undergoing a computerized makeover that gave her a new hairdo, facelift, whitened teeth and several other nips and tucks and made her more glamorous.

In December 2009, Boyle has spent a dream Christmas with family in her native Scotland.

Recalling her days before she achieved superstardom, Boyle said she looked like the dull character in oil painting Whistlers Mother.

On May 31, 2009, having lost in Britains Got Talent, Susan reproted to have suffered emotional breakdown and was admitted to a private London clinic. Her health concerns made her spend four-days at a rehab clinic following exhaustion after facing defeat in the show's finals. Later in mid-June 09, she stunned the crowd at Birmingham with her jaw-dropping comeback on the opening date of the Britain's Got Talent tour. Boyle gave her first TV interview post Britains Got Talent to NBC for their news show 'Today'.

In November 09, music mogul Simon Cowell produced a documentary I Dreamed a Dream: The Susan Boyle Story based on the story of Boyle.

In April 2010, Susan said she would love to do a duet with Lady Gaga. Also during the month, Rapper Snoop Dogg, real name Calvin Broadus, has confirmed that he is set to record a duet with Boyle.
