In October 2008, Chaudhry said he has many "secrets in his heart" and would share some of them with the public on November 3 during his address to the Rawalpindi Bar Association.

In March 09, Zardari has said that he was only waiting for the retirement of present Chief Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar before restoring Justice Chaudhry as the countrys Chief Justice.
