The couple has six kids. Zahara, adopted from Ethopia is the eldest of their adopted children. Maddox, from Cambodia and Pax, from Vietnam are the other two adopted kids. Shiloh is their eldest biological daughter. Jolie got pregnant during role as a desperate mum in Changeling and given birth to her twins in Nice, France in July 08. The couple are reported to have made a deal with People magazine more than the estimated 14 million pounds for the first pictures of the twins. The couple also had an assurance that the publisher will not make any negative coverage of their family, not only in the piece about the twins but also in all future articles. The couple's other twins are Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. Jolie planned to quit acting after twins birth but Pitt Pitt persuaded her to return to work. Brangelina said they are planning to adopt seventh child when their kids become six months old.

On November 30, 2008, a plainclothes guard turned paparazzi and spinned Pitt around and pulled him backwards at the red carpet welcome of The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button at the Los Angeles's Bruin Theatre.

In July 2007, Pitt invited Aniston for a lunch at which he introduced his youngest child, one-year old Shiloh. Reports say Jolie is not happy at this though.

In September 2008, Brad Pitt jovially said he and Angelina have travelled around the world so much that they are planning to start their own nation someday. The couple announced a $2-million donation for the Global Health Committee to set up a TB and HIV/AIDS clinic in Ethiopia. The hospital would be named after their elder daugther Zahara who is adopted from Ethopia.
