B Prasada Rao is the Director General of Police (DGP) of Andhra Pradesh.


DGP Prasada Rao held a review meeting of law and order situation in the State ahead of the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh. The meeting was attended by senior police officers, including district SPs, Zonal DIGs and Range IGs. Commissioners of Police of Hyderabad, Cyberabad, Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada also attended. Red corner notice on KVP
DGP Prasada Rao said the Andhra Pradesh Police Department received the red corner notice against KVP Ramachandra Rao but since it was not accompanied by any arrest warrant, they are in correspondence with CBI on the same. When asked if there was any vigil set up on KVP, Prasada Rao said that he is a Rajya Sabha member and would be available. Apr 27, 2014
