Fatima Bhutto

Fatima Bhutto is a Pakistani poet, writer and journalist. She is granddaughter of former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the niece of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, and daughter of Murtaza Bhutto.

Fatima Bhutto is the daughter of Benazir Bhutto's brother Murtaza Bhutto.

Fatima Bhutto currently writes columns for The Daily Beast, New Statesman and other publications.


She has long said that she would not enter politics. However, her stepmother Ghinwa Bhutto told media in December 2012 that Fatima would contest in 2013 elections.

2013 General Elections

Fatima Bhutto will contest in the 2013 General Elections from a constituency in Punjab province. Her stepmother and head of Pakistan Peoples Party - Shaheed Bhutto (PPP-SB) Ghinwa Bhutto told the media in December 2012 that Fatima would contest from Liaquatpur town in Rahim Yar Khan district.
