Professional Biography

In June 2010, he was included in the 15-man squad for the Asia Cup played in Sri Lanka from June 15, 2010.

In July 2010, the Pakistan team management has rubbished media reports that Malik was dropped from the squad for the first Test against Australia underway at Lords because of spending too much time with newly wed wife Sania Mirza.
