Dominique Strauss-Kahn is the Chief of the International Monetary Fund.


In October 2008, the US President has invited the leaders of Group of 20 countries to a summit in the Washington, D.C. area, on November 15 to discuss financial markets and the global economy. The Managing Director of IMG is also invited to participate.

The IMF has noted that Chile grew at an average 5.8 percent rate from 1990 to 2008, earning a place among the world's 30 most vibrant economies.

In May 09, it is reported IMF may boost-up additional funding to Pakistan by 4.5 billion dollars.
