The Indian Mujahideen is a terrorist outfit that claimed responsibility for the 2010 Varanasi bomb blast in December 2010 and Ahmedabad bomb blasts in July 2008. The outfit has also emailed to television channels that they are targetting Bollywood actors and industrialists and hence security was beefed up to top actors including Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Saif Ali Khan.

Three linked to Pune serial blasts arrested

The Delhi Police arrested three people - Asad Khan, Imran Khan and Sayed Feroz of the Indian Mujahideen outfit. The arrests which was announced on 11 October 2012, was made with the information provided by the 25/11 mastermind Abu Jundal.

Two of them are arrested near Qutub Minar and the other from east Delhi's Mandawali. The arrested may have links with the four low-intensity bomb blasts in Pune on August 2012, in which one person was injured. They planned to attack at least seven places in Delhi and Bodh Gaya during the upcoming Dasara festival season.
