Martin Brodeur (Born: May 6, 1972) is a NHL player. He is New Jersey Devils goaltender.

Professional Biography

Martin Brodeur stated playing street hockey when he was a kid. He later played for the Saint- Leonard Minor Hockey Association and the Montreal-Bourassa Midget AAA Team. He played for the Calgary for the National U17 Hockey Festival in 1988 and later joined the Saint-Hyacinthe Laser in the Quebec Major League in 1989.

Playing in NHL

Brodeur played in the NHL for the first time in March 26, 1992 when he faced Boston Bruins. Since then he continued to become better and better. In March 09, he tied Patrick Roy's NHL record of 551 career wins. It is reported that Celine Dion's agent tried to reach him to congratulate him of the success.
