R&B Music Hall of Fame Museum


The R&B Music Hall of Fame & Museum will stand as an international iconic cultural museum dedicated to the vast contributions African Americans have made in music, art and culture.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced its support to the R&B Music Hall of Fame Museum.

Induction

The Museum will recognize the contributions of those who have had significant impact on the evolution, development and perpetuation of Rhythm and Blues.

Performers

Artists will be eligible for induction into the R&B Hall of Fame museum five years after the release of their first record. The nominating committee of the R&B Hall of Fame museum will nominate the inductees and the governing body will select from the nominees.

Non-Performers

Songwriters, producers, disk jockeys, record executives, journalists and other industry professionals will come under this category.

Hall of Fame Class of 2013

The Induction ceremony of the first R&B Music Hall of Fame will be held on Sunday May 5, 2013 at the Music Hall Auditorium Cleveland, Ohio at 5:00 pm. The VIP reception show time is scheduled on the same day at 7:00 pm.
