Ek Tha Tiger collected Rs. 31.23 on the opening day which is a record in itself. The previous record for the opening day collection was held by Agneepath at Rs. 22 crore.

Even as the box office collections of Ek Tha Tiger is closing on Rs. 200 crore mark, Salman Khan said on September 17, 2012 that the milestone doesn't matter much as it should have achieved the feat by now.
